Rev. Angie Collins

So tell me about how you got started in your work? I started my work when I was 12... My mother was very ill with cancer and fought a 13-year battle...During the night, she would cry from the pain that the cancer had given her. I would push my bed up to hers at night and lay hands on her Sacral Chakra, and stroke her head until she fell asleep. In the morning she would wake up with a bright, brave smile and say “Thank you for helping me last night”.

Shoden (Level I Reiki) will be offered this Saturday, July 17, from 9-6 PM.
A few spaces remain so act quickly if you want to join this workshop. We'll have a wonderful day learning about Reiki. It is a full day with attunements (4 of them), Traditional Japanese meditations, information about Reiki and practice giving Reiki to yourself and others. Tuition of $200 includes two books as well as other materials and a beautiful Shoden certificate. Students who have taken the previous version of Reiki I with me may take Shoden for half price which includes one book and all the rest.

Okuden (Level II Reiki) will be offered Saturday July 31 from 9-6 PM. There is plenty of time to register for this workshop, but please let me know at least a week in advance if you plan to attend so I can order the books. Another wonderful day hanging out in the Reiki energy. Traditional Japanese meditations appropriate to the second level of Reiki, more attunements, 3 symbols and their associated matras and instruction in giving Reiki to others as a Level II Reiki Practitioner. Tuition of $250 includes one book (maybe two, I am debating about that) as well as other materials and a beautiful Okuden certificate. Students who have taken my previous version of Reiki II may take Lkuden at half price including a book and all the rest.

I have beautiful certificates for the new workshops in the Japanese tradition. They are written in both English and Japanese and are quite impressive.

I will have copies of the new book used in Shoden available for purchase. If you purchase a book and later take Shoden, deduct the cost of the book from your tuition.  Beginning in August, Practice sessions will be held the 3rd Sunday or each month from 2-6 PM. It is my intention to offer a practice session every month so everyone has an opportunity to practice the mediations with a group and to give and receive Reiki from other students. A Reiki Workshop is just the first step. To really experience Reiki regular practice is necessary. A Reiki Practitioner is someone who practices Reiki. Are you a Reiki Practitioner?
