Chakra Balancing - the word "chakra" is the ancient Sanskrit word for wheel. Chakras are believed to be funnel-shaped energy centers which bring in Universal life force energy. In Western medicine, they correspond to nerve centers. By balancing these through various techniques, a practitioner may improve the health and vitality of the body.

Color Therapy - using color for balance and healing, this modality is based on the premise that light in the visible spectrum (typically 400 to 750 THz) has healing capabilities. This is particluarly important to people with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or other sleep disorders. Healing using visible light in one form or another such as infusing water with certain colors. Each color in the prism correlates to specific aspects of our being and is believed to stimulate healing of those areas.

Crystal Healing - is a form of healing that uses crystals or gemstones. The crystals are mainly placed on specific areas of the body called "chakras," seven basic energy centers in the body, each having a color associated with it. Some crystal healers place the same color crystals as the color of the chakras on the person to enhance the flow of energy. Crystals are said to direct the flow of energy to the person in a particular part of the body and bring balance to a person's energy.

Kinesiology / Applied Kinesiology - Kinesiology is the study of muscles and their movements. Applied Kinesiology is a system that uses muscle testing procedures, in conjunction with standard methods of diagnosis, to gain information about a patient's overall state of health. Practitioners analyze muscle function, posture, gait, and other structural factors in addition to inquiring about lifestyle factors that may be contributing to a health- related problem. Nutritional supplements, muscle and joint manipulation, and lifestyle modification (including diet and exercise) may then be used as part of a treatment plan.
