Welcome to CHEO
We invite you to bring your interests,
energies & expertise
to CHEO,
Complementary Health Education Organization.... |
Formed in 2002, the goal
of this non-profit is to educate the public about alternative,
holistic, complementary and integrative health practices; and to create
a supportive network for practitioners and persons interested in these
modalities. CHEO hosts free monthly
educational meetings, holistic seminars, annual alternative health
fairs, and provides a "yellow pages" of area alternative health services
with an ongoing online directory and once every two years membership
print directory.
Our free CHEO e-newsletter sent once or twice per month, covers
meetings, CHEO organization topics, health topics
and calendar items from Chattanooga, Knoxville and surrounding areas. If
you or a friend would like to receive our free
e-newsletter, please email:
News@4cheo.org.
CHEO acknowledges the inseparability of mind, body, emotion and
spirit in optimal wellness, trusting in the body's innate ability to
heal. CHEO welcomes the participation of all persons interested
in complementary, alternative and holistic health modalities in our
supportive network. CHEO encourages individuals to become
informed participants in their healthcare, to become responsive and
informed partners in wellness with their healthcare providers.

Q&A:
If you had 3 wishes, what
would they be in order of importance?
First, I wish for a new health care system that would actually
work as opposed to our severe sick care system that only maintains
sickness and doesn’t promote health or nutrition.
Second, I wish for our
M.D.’s to be required to take nutrition courses and learn about
the safe use of herbs, supplements, and herbs to treat the body in place of
harmful drugs that kill over 700,000 people a year....
