Q & A's with Doc Adams:

●  What brought you to Alternative Health and the field/product you’re involved with?

Listening to my mentors - and listening to my patients.

●  Tell us about yourself in 60 words or less

I am a medical doctor - a graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical School.
I am most honored to have received the CHEO Practitioner of the Year Award in 2004.  My job is to keep folks healthy and away from people like me. In general,
if you give the body what it needs to get back in balance, it will.

●  Where are you from? How long in the Greater Chattanooga area?

Born in Louisville, KY while my father was in medical school - been in Chattanooga since the 50's.

●  If you had three wishes, what would they be in order of importance?

Good, honest leadership. Corporate accountability. Freedom of treatment.

●  If you could have lunch with any person, living or deceased, who would it be and why?

My dad. It would be fun to catch up.

●  What do you like to do in your spare time? What do you do for fun?

Fish and hunt.

●  Are you married, have you ever been married, etc? Kids? Pets?

Incredibly lucky!  Living with my girl-friend who also is my wife of 25 or so years.
3 kids - 2 daughters and 1 son. 1 dog.

●  What are you most proud of in your life?

Well, can't take credit for good luck...just thank the good lord for the opportunity to
be here, and hope he will give me the strength to do the things he wants done.

●  Where do you see yourself in five years?

To quote Tennessee Ernie Ford: "...another day older and deeper in debt. St. Peter don't you call me because I can't go, I owe my soul to the company store...."

●  How would you like to see this organization grow, change or expand? How would you like to see medical and alternative health in this country grow, change or etc.

I enjoy seeing CHEO grow due to the efforts of its leaders. I feel if we keep the "education" in the mix, it will continue to thrive and grow.

I believe traditional medicine will begin to open its eyes and ears to what works
for patients.

●  What services do you offer?

Integrative medicine. Bio-Identical Hormone replacement therapy for men and women. Detoxification via Intravenous therapies or Infra red Ozone Sauna.
Electro-Dermal Screening, Iridology, Lymph Star Drainage, Safe Weight Loss.

●  What led you into this business and opening up your own place?

The desire to help my patients.

●  Do you feel what you provide is holistic health care, alternative health care, complimentary health care services or do you care what it’s labeled?

It is good medicine.

●  What advice do you have for people looking to get into this field?

2 qualities are of utmost importance: a brain in your head and a bone in your back.

●  What is the most remarkable thing you’ve seen in your business?

I cannot begin. I regularly see folks with either physical problems, or mental
problems, or social/family/life problems and they struggle and survive.

●  What is your most proud accomplishment thus far with your business?

The privilege to work with others to try to get Tennessee to be a Freedom of
Treatment State.

●  What is the one thing you want the public to understand about your services that you feel they don’t?

YOU are responsible for YOUR health and health care @ the local, state and federal level!!!  Let your state representatives and senators know how YOU feel about sick care and health care and freedom of treatment!
