Sheila Pope
Interview & article by Jeannette Sebes-McDonald
Sheila Pope’s card reads Modern Christian Mystic and that she is; but simply stated this woman is a healer. She practices in the field of energy medicine as a medical intuitive; offering readings, workshops, spiritual retreats, reiki, parties with purpose and a whole host of services to enable healing. A meeting with Sheila is a meeting that will transform your body, mind and spirit.
At the age of seven Sheila offered her first diagnostic by telling her mother that the man sitting behind them was sick. While this gift was always present it was not always understood. It was not until she was thirty-nine that she came to accept and understand that she possessed an ability to both intuit energy forms and then remove them in order to stimulate healing. Energy forms needing removal are referred to as emotional waste. This gift began as a survival tool for Sheila, as she battles her own physical illnesses, and has transformed and grown into a healing ministry she considers to be her birthright.

I do the footbath detoxification therapy. I also wrote a 48-page preventative health booklet last year that I have available for a small price. And I sell several health products. I love alternative health, and CHEO has been a great source of education and networking for me.

What is the one thing you would most like us to know about you? I truly enjoy what I do. I love meeting people and making new friends. I consider this my ministry, and if my clients need to talk, I’m there to listen. If they need me to laugh with them, cry with them, help them with a problem or pray for them…. then that’s what I’ll do.
What services do you offer? Detoxification footbath therapy, a preventative health booklet, whole-food nutritional supplements, air and water purification, and nontoxic cleaning products.

Q & A with Rob:
Tell us about yourself in 60 words or less: After many years of living a typical pattern of 'child, student, husband, dad, business career person' I realized that, like the rest of us, I'm actually a spiritual being having a physical experience. And that the most important part of that was the spiritual. So I shifted my focus to the growth of that part of me and I moved to doing work that reflected my inner beliefs.
