She has spent her life being groomed for her budding and current work by tuning in to life’s experiences.
This is one woman who listened when life was sending her messages and we should all be so lucky to learn from her wisdom. From Anne you can receive energy work on an individual basis; mind-body-spirit connection education on a group level and an overwhelming encounter with truth. A teacher and healer wrapped into one she provides an opportunity for all of us to break free from what it is that ails us.
Schooled in communications and broadcasting in college Anne set out to find a job that fit. Job after job came and went as her interest in energy, science of the mind and personal power grew. In 1998 she earned a Masters in Metaphysics and later studied energy medicine for two years under visionary healer, Fernan Poulin.
Armed with vast life experience, loads of book knowledge and a deep understanding of how to follow ones own intuitive path, Anne is now ready to bring an understanding of the mind-body connection to the masses. Information from a seminar outline boasts, “what if your body is trying to heal and you’re standing firmly in the way?” With a powerful presence and deep intuitive sense Anne has the skills to bring this information to us in a practical and skills-based way.
Teaching us how to tune in, get quiet enough to hear our body’s messages and how to act on them is Anne. We can keep ignoring our bodies or we can learn from a teacher wise well beyond her years. Anne can teach us “powerful and practical skills that allow us to live a more whole and balanced life.” Watch for Anne’s workshops to burst onto the scene soon.
Special Thanks to Jeannette Sebes-McDonald for interview / article.
Q & A with Anne:
What are you most proud of in your life? I’m most proud of the fact that I have grown immensely from my challenges. Deaths, financial setbacks, starting all over again, breakups, etc. I’ve been fortunate to know that for some reason, I was being redirected. I’ve learned to trust that I will be challenged and redirected from time to time, sometimes in what seems like a harsh way, but in the end I will be better and stronger and more alive for it, and while I’m not at the stage where I welcome the challenges, I know I can handle them.
What do you like to do in your spare time? It varies. Right now, I’m in the “cant get enough tennis” phase. That will last for awhile and, and then I might go into a research phase, where I’m gathering all the information I possibly can about a particular subject, and immersing myself in it. Who knows what it will be, but there will always be lots of reading and writing, shopping, biking, and being by the water, any water, but especially the ocean.
Where are you from? How long in the Chattanooga area? I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Since then I’ve lived in Washington D.C. San Francisco, Oakland, CA, Paris France, Miami FL, Atlanta, GA and now Chattanooga. I moved here last July.
If you could have lunch with any person, living or deceased who would it be and why? There are so many people it’s impossible to just pick one. I’d say the top three are Barbara Brennan, healer, scientist and therapist because I want to know where she is headed with the human energy field these days.
Deepak Chopra, because I want to talk about quantum physics and how he personally applies the principles to his own daily life.
Caroline Myss, because I love her teaching style, and I aspire to do what she does teaching on international retreats.
What is your most proud accomplishment thus far with your business? I feel very pleased when I’ve been part of someone’s healing or someone’s AHA moment. I feel really great when someone comes to me saying their life totally sucks and they’re depressed, and by the time we’ve done our work, they are laughing at themselves and saying my life doesn’t suck, and I’ve got a lot going for me!!! When I can see a change in their posture, confidence and the perception of the future begin to change, I know they’re on their way, and that makes me proud.
What is the one thing you want the public to understand about your services that you feel they don’t? I feel the public does not yet understand the nature of energy work. People are still so conditioned to going to traditional doctors and telling them what’s wrong and expecting them to fix it. I think people want a magic pill so they can get back to their lives back to business as usual, they see illness as a major inconvenience that they don’t have time for.
Energy therapies can have incredible results, but they are not instant miracles, and the client has to participate in the changes. Clients would do well to understand that they didn’t get to where they are overnight, and won’t be back to tip top shape overnight either. It is not that I wave my hands over you and you are all fixed up, it is a process of understanding and unraveling your particular needs. I think people are not yet geared to having the patience to listen to the subtle language of the body.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Within five years I will be an international teacher of mind-body-spirit medicine and understanding the language of the body and what it’s trying to tell you. I believe it’s going to take a lot of repetition for people to get that they have a lot more control over their health and well being than they have been taught they do.
I can help far more people by educating in groups than I can seeing people one on one. I have a feeling I will be living in Acapulco, Mexico, but I’m not sure about that yet. Wherever I live, I’ll be traveling and speaking and training and doing what I love.
