Mary Ann was born in Detroit, Michigan. She & her husband Doug will be married 34 years in December. Their son, Jason and his wife April live in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with their three beautiful children, Gunnar 7, Evelyn 6 and Lukas 3.

During her nine-and-a-half years in fine jewelry with Helzberg Diamonds, her annual sales ranged between $350,000 and $550,000, and she managed two of the Helzberg stores. Mary Ann is also credentialed as a Certified Diamontologist and as a Guild Gemologist.

When Doug retired after 38 years with Ford Motor Company in Michigan, they moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia.
